We don't have enough of these. Tell us about the good things in your life, maybe it will make everyone feel better.

Mine: I'm home. I have been away for a while at attending a Medical Conference. I love that I have the opportunity to pursue my dreams. It might be trying at times but the bottom line is that I've been afforded the chance to fully go after what I want and it's amazing.

I love my girls(dogs), and my brand new running shoes.

Sunday's (schedule pemitting)when I get to play hockey..

Of course my awesome mil.com family whom I love to be around to!

I'm moving on Post this weekend/coming week. Big Grin
I've never lived on a post before.....or recall ever living on a base either as a kid. I'm actually looking forward to it. Big Grin

My almost 18 year old troubled kid is feeling a lot more peaceful these days. Hoping to get him into an online school in the next week.

My 14 year old is still cute as hell. Wink She's a temperamental pill still, but she's got a great sense of humor that she's developed in the last 4 years. She makes me laugh. Big Grin

The love of my life....*sigh*....what can I say about him??? He's still amazing, strong, soft, funny, weird--still cooks better than I do--and even though work is screwed up beyond belief and going downhill still, he doesn't take his crap out on any of us--well, maybe except the cats. Wink

through some unfortunate circumstances this spring I have become reacquainted with my Lord and Savior....... someone I've neglected in my daily life for far to long - and I am happier for it.

I could actually say the same ~ my world has been literally fallen apart around me. Yet surprisingly, through it all I fell in love earlier this year. Besides making me feel like the luckiest, most special person on earth, he was the one who reminded me the joy of the Lord is my strength!!

There are two words that may be the most powerful, life-changing words we could ever say.
Those two words are "Thank You!"
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "give thanks in ALL circumstances, for this is God's will for you.”

When you take time to celebrate ALL things and thank God for them, a spirit of thanksgiving penetrates every area of your life!!

I celebrate and I’m thankful for our milcom family!! I met my best friend, and love of my life here. As well as some pretty amazing people who will forever be in my heart!!

choose joy each day

A heartfelt ditto here.
Is this a Thanksgiving thread, sort of?
At first I struggled to come up with a positive answer. It would seem that so many areas of my life have sort of gone south permanently. But I remember that our Lord said he would never leave me or forsake me, and so in spite of what looks bad around me, I feel very up and hopeful. I have seen so many evidences of His kindnesses and mercies in my life. I think these are so much better than those things we expect from a worldly perspective.

So Pipes!

This could be a VERY long answer, there is just so much that puts a smile on my face! Cool Big Grin

Good evening everyone.

Hmmm this may strike some as strange but. I'm officially homeless and feel great about it. Yes I've an adress I'm using for residence purposes but don't live there although my brother says I can crash when ever I need or want to.

I'm also trying out a wireless broad band USB Modem, So I will have internet access aslong as there is cellular service. My bills are paid up and I've no major concerns worries or responsibilities. I can be an randomly mobile person and no major concerns or worries.

I'm off on the road to where ever!
Where is it? Its just over the hill from here. Big Grin

Still this week I was at Two Welcome Back gatherings for Soldiers I've known some for well close to 20 years. Knowing that they are back safe from Iraq actually gladden my heart.

So that unto itself is a reason to celebrate!

Cheers all, I'll be around but not regularly.

Smile Hokay Pipes, the old thinking cap has generated a few brain waves.
First, I am thankful for my home sweet home. As 1Proud would describe it, it does have an eclectic decor (nothing matches), but it's clean and it's mine.
Secondly, thank God for my job. It's a hare, not a tortoise, but I am oh so grateful to be here.
Third of course, my kitty family. They keep me so crazy I don't have time to feel sorry for myself.
Fourth, my hometown. Nobody wants to live here, and I'm so grateful for that. It is a peaceful, quiet, safe place to live, and I love it here.

That's all for now, my coworker is spazzing out, she is mad at her husband, she will be over here shortly telling me all about it.

I can pretty much pick my days to work(just so I get 3.5 to 4 days in Lois is happy.)Last week I had Resource Room(S.P.E.D.teacher). One 4th grader was deaf, was hard wired with hearing aids in his skull and had 3 finger on each hand. He was just as much of a boy as anyone, he was an inclusion student. At the end of the day I had three Austic students, it makes me grateful Jeff's Autism was so mild and what can be done with just patience. Thursday and Friday I had Ele P.E., the coaches treat my like one of the gang. And to think, I get PAID to play with kids as a P.E. coach! Big Grin

What is awesome in my life....my husband, my daughter, my health, my cats. My relationship with my daughter is stronger and closer than ever. The way it used to be.

SGTBJH, you are a very special person to work with mentally challeged children. I have 2 nephews that are autistic and I am an avid supporter of helping children with autism. I'm especially interested in being able to help autistic adults, as one of my nephews is 22.

God Bless You.
