So, a lot of times I'll be reading someone's post on here, but have NO idea what or who it's talking about, but everyone else obviously does. So I thought it might be a cool idea to ask people to introduce themselves here, because it's annoying to go check someone's profile for info that might not even be there, or to ask what they heck they're talking about on the boards and wait for an answer that it seems everyone else already knows! 2. I'm in college so I still kinda live with my family (parents, two brothers, dog), and I'm engaged.

3. I'm based in Michigan--Grosse Pointe (near Detroit) is my hometown, and I'm in Lansing/East Lansing for school.

4. My fiance Andrew is AD Army (35T), and he's currently 7 months into a two-year assignment in South Korea (his first duty station).

6. I am a junior at Michigan State University, majoring in Professional Writing and English. After school I want to go into editing & publishing or consulting, but obviously that will depend on where Andrew is stationed (he will be done in Korea about three weeks after I graduate). Andrew actually comes home for leave this Tuesday(!!!!), and we are getting married the day after Christmas!

Hi, I'm Barry, and I've been sob...Opps wrong meeting. My family and I live in El Paso,Tx. The army put us here and here is where we are staying. I retired 2 years ago as a 92A30 and I now sub teach for the El Paso Independent Schools. Lois and I have been married for 31 years and we have 1 daughter, 2 sons, a granddaughter and a grandson, one cute little dog and a cat from Hades! Ice cream is just another was to serve chocolate.

2. Husband is Tony, 19 y.o. daughter Katie (or Kate as she wants to be called since she is all grown up!), 2 cats - Mickey and Tiffany.

3. We are in Manassas, Virginia right now but in 6 months will be moving again....PCS'ing to Fort Knox, Kentucky.

4. Tony is Army and stationed at Human Resources Command in Alexandria, VA. He is a Career Manager for Sergeant Majors and Command Sergeant Majors.

5. Favorite ice cream......Hmmmmm.....I'd say chocolate turtle, moosetrack, and maple walnut.

6. I just changed careers from being a nurse for 25 years to being a paralegal. Currently attending college besides working to get my paralegal degree. Tony and I have been married for 6 1/2 wonderful years. I am really getting used to change of address as since 2004, we have PCS's 4 times and now are going on our 5th!

I have two sons, 20 and 14. The older son is a Marine, Cpl, Amphibious Assault Vehicle Mech.

I was in the USCG for six years as a Boatswainsmate/Coxswain (boat driver). Then served 17 yrs with US Customs driving boats in South Florida.

Living in NH now...buried in snow. YUCK!!!

Icecream...well, I am lactose intolerant but when I really need a fix, I go for Moosetracks.

I've been on Disability Retirement for the past 4 yrs, bored out of my skull, after an accident with a large helicopter at work.

Working on wife #4....it's looking pretty good so far.

Hobbies: gun range with my sons, fixing up my old motorcycles, video games with my sons....like a 45 yr old kid.

1. First name = Linda ~ aka; Linda-Lou (since high school from Skynyrd’s song ‘gimmie three steps’), because of my nephew it became Window-Wou (he used to say “I wuv you window-wou”). After sharing that story at the Café (in general discussions) I became Window and also Wou and P’ay Princess (see below)

I grew up just 40 minutes from Valley Forge in Hatboro. I've hiked through Valley Forge Park many, many times.

6. Anything else you can think of that's relevant: I just got my bachelors in Psychology, I'm currently working in a genetics lab and taking a few more classes while applying for grad school. I'm planning on going into Genetic Counseling, and my husband is going to follow ME for a change! His 4 years will be up next October. Our top choices to live for the next few years (pending acceptance to grad schools) are Denver, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. Anywhere warmer is good for me, I'm tired of windchills in the -40's and -50's!
