Ok everyone, I am making some changes to our Military Entertainment & Social Forums...
If you have any ideas as to categories on the main menu, setup order, color, wording, etc., this would be the place to give me your ideas... This area is your little "getaway" so your opinion counts (even if I ignore you   )...I will consolodate, think about and maybe even consider your hard thought out ideas... Just kidding everyone. I really would like to hear what you have to say... Now, just a heads up, some of the categories on the main menu of our forum here will be removed soon. I already had some placed at the bottom (the last two)... Ok, get those creaky old dusted gears in your heads rolling! |

Okay, I would like to have a sports area, a totally nude section, just for us adults no kids allowed.
I want BV to stop being bad and getting kick out for 10 days.. Okay, I think if its possible, we should try to keep the social forum the way it is, I like the set up and all. As for other ideas on forums, maybe one about military movies, music and real life talks about the way the military is and what it means to everyone.. Bettina this one is a real suggestion that I have been thinking of lately, it helps to have friends as you have all helped me lately. I know there is forum for this on alot of places but I would like at least one serious forum on helping each other. Divorce, death, wounded, etc..... It dont have to be a lot of area just one simple little forum so folks, like me can go and talk with each other about problems... I will MOD it if you want along with you and anyone else that will take it serious. That is still a social function, to help our friends, but I dont want to go to the womens area and bother them with more problems and neither do I want to bother PTSD with it. I go there too, but I think one for just us here on the social forums and others to come too would be cool... I know you guys sure helped me out.. Thanks.  Ray, American Military Supporter. I tend to agree with his suggestion.  As us baby boomers get older our parents get olders too and we'll be faced with taking care of them. There will be a lot issues regarding their health issues. |

It is obvious that I like the low-key atmosphere of the "Pub", the "Wimmenz and Menz" so........... if you'll keep a few of the "fun and banter" threads you'll get my vote. Actually the way our "leaders" are acting let it be known to all that I elect "Dutchess" to be our new leader.... screw it up however and your "out of the shrine" kiddo..........

Ray - I can add a new category to the main menu of my forum here. I could call it: The Circle Friends helping Friends in serious discussions. (or something like that)... What do you think? It would not be in the Social part of this forum, but it's own category... As far as the Sports Arena, if you look at the main menu, you'll see I already added that... |

Great Idea!
How about my own personal forum? Kind of like a home away from home. It doesn't have to be in the "Social" forum. It could be a spinoff of the Humor forum. What do you think? After all, I do have my own thread. I had two but TUV got all selfish and stuff and renamed one... .......................................... On a serious note... I'm cool with the colors. I wouldn't mind seeing more smilies. I'm a smilie fan. If it changes too much I peobably wouldn't know where I was. |

Duchess, that is okay, I like that, so a seperate forum?? that would be cool. I just think all of us here on the Social forums have the Nascar thread, Football, movies, why not have one located here to discuss serious stuff or to reach out for help and give help.j
We regulars here are a family, and as such you guys sure helped me out, and I just think it would be cool to have a place to talk serious if you want and still be in the Social and Entertainment area so us here can talk with other regulars.. Ray - Waht do you mean you'll help moderate that? You are moderating the whole kit and cabootle here (ME&SF), so what is one more category on our main menu here?
Slick - Your own forum? Yeah, right. Lets see, what's the price of bribery nowadays? ------------------------------------------------ The whole Military Entertainment & Social Forums is our little playground here. That is why I put in the Sports Arena right above the Nascar Forum... I will add another one just for our "Family type talks" when we all agree on what we would like it to be called and a brief description I can put under the name. So, give me your ideas everyone... Also, take a good look at our main menu (ME&SF). If you have more ideas, get them out here. This is what this thread is all about. To get your input... Also, we changed the colors back for now till we get some work done on our system. Bare with us. I just tried out the colors so I can get an idea as to what we can do with our forums here (ME&SF)... Looking forward to your inputs... |

I was just saying I would help if you didnt want to mess with another forum is all. I like helping you out. A name?? Not sure there, Circle of friends is okay I guess, but I think we need a locked note or something telling that this forum is for serious topics and help, not playing around.. This sound good?? That's a good idea - putting a comment under the title to show the intent...
This is not to be mistaken for the PTSD forum or such and it is also not the Social Forum (yes, this very area where we are discussing this ). The other forums in "Military Entertainment & Social Forums" are of various seriousness (or not, as it is in here), so that shouldn't be a problem...For example, the NASCAR forum is of a more serious discussion... Ok, so we have something like the helpline "Circle of Friends" for one... Oh yeah. One more announcement. oops, can't let the cat out of the bag yet. Lets just say that something huge is going to happen soon... I will be recruiting for moderators to get together a complete staff. Trust me, we WILL need it here soon... Anyone interested, please email me and we'll discuss, ok? I already have two people I will be emailing to see if we can get a phone conference going... |
