There has been a change in the Lead Moderator of the Social Forums.

As some of you know Bettina is having a rough time and I have been asked to take over the Lead Moderator duties, this is in no way a reflection on Bettina.

She has done a hell of a job, but we are needing a Lead Moderator and I have accepted this to help keep this board running smooth, as I would not like someone new that would not or may not know the regulars here.

There has been a concern raised that I must address and it is one of the more serious topics that I hate to deal with. There has been some crossover complaints from other forums to more complaints to this and other forums.

As directed by Rob and those other Lead Moderators, this will no longer be tolerated. IF a thread is closed for whatever reason, I am asking that no complaints, new threads or even posting in the threads here. IF you have a problem with a thread or post in another forum, please leave it there.

I do not want to be the one to warn or suspend a member, especially a regular who I have become friends with, but I will do what I have been instructed to do.

One reason for me to become Lead is that with no Lead the problem has gotten worse, and as Bettina would not tolerate it neither will I. I will be a bit more strict than Bettina as I dont know to many of the woman in the other forums. I have ask for help from Rob on this and he has ask a few other Mods that are familiar with that area to help out.

However, I will back any decision they make when it comes to warnings and suspensions if they feel it needed to calm a thread down.

I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY MEMBERS OR MOD BASHING IN MY FORUMS.

I will be as fair as I can, if you have a problem with a decison, you may contact me and I will listen if my decision is not satifactory, you may take it up the chain.

I will be fair, and I ask for some patience in that I dont know all the women in other areas, however that is not an excuse to run wild and expect to get crazy.

I would expect you all to continue being helpful and friendly to each other, I am not making any changes at this time.

To all members of the Social Forums, I have taken this on for one very good reason, I would not like this to become a forum that is changed up and allowed to fall back into obscurity like it was once before. I love the folks here and wanted to keep the Social Forums lively and fun place to let of some steam and just have fun.

If I can be of help, let me know. I hope this will explain some of what is going on, I will be as helpful as I can.

CAT, not at all, I love the playing around, you know that, but the serious stuff is not gonna fly here.

Its more a problem in other areas, I just wont allow other problems to bleed over to here. I will protect this forum with a heavy HAMMER..

Just want to keep problems from one area from getting to here. I will not let this board turn into a pizzing match.. I catch anyone bringing there problems here, they will be gone.

So continue as we have been, just wanted to warn those coming in here to stir up crap that Bettina was nice compared to me..

I dont do alot of warnings, I catch someone bashing a mod from another site in here, there gone, no questions ask, just gone.

Even if the mod is wrong in there area, it wont come here, there is a chain to go up. IF a Mod in one area is wrong, they take it to there Lead not to this forum, if there is a problem in my area, I will deal with it, if not good enough go up the chain..

We Mods are here to help, but also to keep the boards flowing good..

Congratulations for the Lead Mod thing.

I don't see many radicals that pop in here. Then, I'm not here very often so I really wouldn't know.

I take it you and/or the powers that be are looking for someone to take over as lead Mod for the social forum? How about one of the regulars here.

Well... I'm sure things will work out and things won't change. The Social Forum is a decent place - away from the hassles of the other forums.

You folks are the only reason I have bothered to stay and keep coming back. I, for one, enjoy it! I do wish I had more available time to spend "conversing" with the "Social Forum Natives."

Thank you for the kind words, I enjoy making others laugh, I do the same stuff in person with my friends. I just love to have fun, even when I was having a hard time, I missed being fun..
