just have a few quick questions? I recently got my Journeyman (E-6) EPME course material and some of the info in there is very inacurate by the way. But my question is this the book says 2,500 for micro purchase but that was changed a while back to 3,000 so on the test what would the right answer be. I am not sure, the course material was updated in MAY 2008.
Thanks

I would look up the answer in the purchase rules sometimes the 2500 rule still is right and some times its 3000. You can always email who is in charge of writing the test. It has something to do with property.

I know what your saying, but I seems like the test has some outdated questions on it so do you go with what was current then or current now?

The EOCT Course Info sheet says the EPME test and course material came online 7/24/08. However the EPME Study Guide from the CG learning site (what you have) is dated May 2008.

Keep in mind the study guides, are guides. Not an all inclusive or up to date answer sheet.

When in doubt, challenge the question.

Good luck.

I just passed the E-6 E-PME back in december, and the macro purchase is 2500 for services and 3000 for consumables.

The micropurchase threshold is $3000 for supplies, $2500 for services and $2000 for construction.

Mainesk and I are Storekeepers and I will second his post of the break down for procurement under the micropurchase threshold.

I also agree with Spudnik282, challenge questions.

I have taken the E-6 epme and SWE (SK) the last two times around. I do not recall the questions for the purchase threshold being wrong. If I recall correctly it asked about the "services" amount which is $2,500.00

Hope this helps and I wish you good luck!

just took and passed the E-6 EPME last week. I went with what the books say, $2500, even though I'm allowed to spend up to $3000 on my card. I just stuck with what I found in the books.
