I was talking to a friend of mine who is an ET1. He was telling me about a program that ET's, IT's, MK's and some other rates can apply for this program, I think he said it's ACT or AECT.. and basically allows an active duty member to go to college full time for 2 years, while collecting active duty pay. I am an FS2, and I'm wondering if there is anything like that for my rating. Thanks in advance..

Your friend's talking about ACET (ALCOAST 102/09).

For FS's, I think the only program that will give you two years just for college is PPEP. Following the college you'd go to OCS. Check it out on gocoastguard.com.
