I am an national Certified EMT-B. I am trying to find out if TA will cover the fee to get emt certified in texas. The Cost is 120 i believe and all i have to do is send the form into the state and they will certify me as one in texas.

your VA benefits should reimburse you though. look at their website to make sure.

If you are nationally registered, then you should be able to work anywhere in the nation. You should go for your Paramedic since you are already an EMT. TA will cover the college courses you need for Paramedic.

Many states require their state certification in addition to or instead of national certification. For example, Mass does not recognize state certification.

Maybe a Mutual Assistance Grant can cover it?? I'm not sure... I know it covers books and registration fees. Check with your local ESO...

Right, some states require a "license" in addition to being nationally registered.
