I'm the guy that slacked off in high school. The song "Rock and Roll High School" by the Ramones comes to mind when I think of the formative years. I went to boot camp two weeks after I turned 18.
Since then, I have been preparing for my separation from the Coast Guard. I've taken general education classes so I don't have to waist my time with them later on. I get out next year and will be attending the University of Illinois. My major is going to be Landscape Architecture.
The Coast Guard has been a great way for me to find myself. And I believe that I will be more focused, harder working, and simply more prepared than most of my peers.

I have an AS in Computer Science. By the time I was done with it, programming had lost its luster. I'm currently studying History through Columbia College.
