Well messdeck intel has it that he is wrapping up E7 and above and will be starting on the E6's in 2-3 weeks, and will send out emails to those who will be getting pipeline training for the early slate billets. Thats as much as I have heard.

Not an early slate billet but I asked for the Acushnet in Ketchikan and just got an email saying I've been slated. Will be my second tour on the old girl.

I saw all the junior guys posting, and thought I had got nothing, but then I saw the AOs page had some EMC billets left for the early slate.

I can't check my .mil emal address regularly so I missed it. I'mm off to the Rush, and that's pretty sweet in my book.

E6's,
I was dabbling with the people soft and I watch our available billets go from 353 to the current 105. The only boats left on the shopping list is: Zephyr, Monsoon, Shamal, Pea Island, Alex Haley, Kukui, Cuttyhunk, and galveston island. So some news should be coming soon.

mlprice1, I had it #1 on my list and never heard anything so I have to assume someone got it that does not frequent this board. The most current shopping list should be available Sept 28. I can only assume if we have not got an email from Mr.Longton by that date, we have to put in another dream sheet, and all the "early slate" pipeline training cutters have been taken. I got this info from http://www.uscg.mil/hq/cgPC/epm/epm-2/AO_Pages/emao.html

Chris, come on down. Huge changes are expected down here in the next few years. As long as you can deal with a hurricane now and again life will be great. As for the heat it will get old after a while. Its been over 90 everyday since the middle of may. The wife and I are looking to leave so my job is open. I've gotten 2 phone calls for it already so good luck.
Scotty
