Hey, whaddaya want ... I AGREED with you. You find fault with possibly quantifiying his judgement? My agenda is not to shift the discussion to Bush - only to hold him up as a measuring stick of how bad it could get.

Perhaps I should have used Jimmy Carter instead ...

Soc, slow down! Eek I was trying to explain myself a little better. And besides, you didn’t change the subject, others did! I’m even with you when questionings Bush’s judgment. He’s made me scratch me head a time or ten over the years!

Jimmy Carter might be a better choice as we seem to be headed toward gas rationing again… Frown

I remember the gas rationining ... I guess I've destroyed those brain cells regarding how it worked. Does anybody remember? How did we divvy up the fuel?

Odd days and even days depending on the last number of your registration plates. Commercial vehicles any day. Ten gallon max at any one time.

The blipness (sic?) factor seems to have been confirmed -- at least by the latest Gallup tracking poll...

'Back on track,' one might say!

I'll stick to my original statement. I've never put much stock in polls, especialy ones regarding the Dems. They're easily twisted to fit ones agenda depending on who's in charge of taking them. No sir, I believe this whole deal could become Obama's un-doing. Popcorn

16 pages and not a single mention of how preposterous it is that we would even consider voting for someone who has a preacher, and must therefore believe in an imaginary man in the sky, that created the universe and interferes in the lives of humans. LOL!

I guess it's better than the current Pres. who actually claims to speak to the creator of the universe on a daily basis.

If it doesn't sound silly substitute priest of Xeno or Priest of Zeus for preacher and try again.

Travis; why aren't you wearing your cuttermans pin or sea service ribbon in your profile?

Does Condi Rice hate America too?? America has what she calls a "birth defect". What the??

"But she spoke forcefully on the subject, citing personal and family experience to illustrate "a paradox and contradiction in this country," which "we still haven't resolved."

I guess that kills her recently touted candidacy for becoming McCain's running mate.

Dr. Rice is an elitist ... she doesn't hold a shred of rapport with the black middle class ... in many ways she would be detriment.
