They need to realize we are not just going after the terrorists themselves but the removing as many potential people (providing those people better options) that live in such despair, that strapping a bomb on their chest seems to be a good idea....They need to know we aren't suggesting they change, we will asure it, they need to know we will also consider those that support them just as responsible.

Until we do that, they will continue to rise up and kill innocent people.

I am terribly sorry you see this the way you do. The extremists that wish us all dead (or convereted to Islam), want you dead, just like they want me dead. I'm proud that finally a leader of this nation took this situation serious enough to risk his popularity.

Ironically that very thing is the one so many complain about, politicians always doing what is best for themselves ahead of what is best for the nation. Going to war in Iraq was always a losing proposition for President Bush, politically speaking, he knew it would not be a quick fix, he mentioned several tines that this would take resolve and patience from the American people, despite those words many from the liberal side of the aisle chose to twist and distort, to undermine the political opposition. They (liberal representatives)were doing (undermining the war on terror)what was best for their political party and personal best interests.
