Is the price of gasoline increasing because we are competing with the likes of the Peoples Republic of China and other emerging nations who hold the U.S. Dollars to up the anti on the trade floor of the commodities market? Increased competion for oil leads to increased demand which reduces supplies which in turn, raises prices, according to the economic law of supply/demand/price.

I will agree with former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, Alan Greenspan, a traditional Conservative. The war in Iraq WAS largely about oil.

At $3.00 a gallon and up too $100.00 per barrel Dick Cheney is making lots and lots of money on Oil!

Just paid 3.68 a gallon at the cheapest gas station in town. Tell me it isn't so, The government lied to us

Untrue, untrue, untrue! Our oil is too expensive at the moment and the oil companies are using everyone else's oil until it runs out. Besides, war for oil is a false argument. We actually get little oil from the Middle East. It is war for profit, war for profit, war for profit. That oil is sold elsewhere but Exxon/Mobil makes a buck.

First off, if Dick Cheney was a genius, he would have followed his own advice. Secondly, he is only a genius in his own mind and there is little of that!

I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than ride with Ted Kennedy.

I'd rather take the chance of drinking and driving with Ted Kennedy than be completely bored outta my gourd by Richard Cheney & company.

Me too. At least I'd know I could get a drink by hangin' with Ted!

$2.69 for E85 ethanol today.

I wonder if Ted would drink E85 in a pinch?
