If any of you remember, I made some predictions via Soapbox about a year ago....They have all come to be except one, but this headline indicates my final prediction will happen.
I've maintained all along that regardless of who follows George Bush into the presidency that the war on terror will continue: Bush Intends to Attack Iran Before the end of His Term |

Short of a surprise escallation with Iran, I dont see this happening. If Iran attacks one of our ships, or Isreal, all bets are off, but I just dont see an attack on Iran as imminent.
Yes, the global war will continue. It will be something that President McCain will have to plan for, and address. T |

Militia, you don't "see" it or you don't WANT to see it?
Could it be that the "War on Terror" is nothing more than a corporate slogan for a fascist regime controlled by wealthy multi-national corporations that bought the US Presidency and are headed by Dick Cheney? Naw...couldn't be. I mean, all of these wars are totally justified, right? There is never a motivating profit factor in any of this, is there? I mean, Oil companies are hurting for money just like the rest of us, aren't they? Now that Bush can just attack sovereign nations without the people's consent, well...what is that called again? Dictator? We go to war when HE says...not when you YOU or I say, he's "The Decider". So much for "predictions", the writing was on the wall all along, I have already told DJ all of this YEARS ago. later... |

Lets see how long admin lets this attack go before they say something.
Why can't some people just post on the issue or post? Why the idiotic attacks? later... |

Lokie, not everyone sees the evil ‘big business’ as the root of all evil for all the world’s woes. Big business is not hiding behind every dark corner and mossy rock. Like Militia, I don’t ‘see’ it either. So I guess that puts me in the same company as Militia.
Just as all wars are not justified, all the world’s troubles are not conspiracies, either. Evil big business… like those that make the car you drive… and the clothing you wear… shoes… processed food that you eat… etc… Big business is all around you. And where does medium business end and big business begin? Is in somewhere wrapped in a conspiracy? Who is at the heart of this evil conspiracy? The Illuminati? Maybe the Freemasons? Heck, it could be the Shriners! I am not trying to be insulting but I am trying to provide a different perspective than that with which you view the world. |

Didn't Congress consent prior to going in...the same people you and I voted for to represent us?? And haven't they consented everytime the war funding bill comes up and they authorize the funding? Seems to me everytime they vote, the folks are speaking loud and clear. Just a teeny weeny statement of observation. |

Alright guys, the medication comment is a little much. Lokie There is nothing to see. As another poster stated, I refuse to believe that every single thing our government does is some sort of conspiracy. Perhaps its my glass half full view on life, but I have to believe that we are doing some good things, we are the greatest Country in the world, and our elected leaders will make the decisions that represent what I elected them for. I agree with John, each one of us is represented by at least two people in Congress. They pass the bills, the President signs them. Yet we seem to want to blame everything on the President like congress doesnt exsist. T |

Sir, Oh, but all the world's troubles are indeed caused by conspiracies. Most particularly, THE ZIONIST CONSPIRACY that we Jews are all behind. It has always been us. We control absolutely everything. Evil big business, too. CNNazi says so, as well as electronicintifada.net, and that stormfront website, too, with those guys who dress up in a clandestine manner like a bunch of robes and will not show themselves. I suppose that is the uniform of their "military." I have a Zionist Conspiracy meeting to go to now, in fact. You see, even if you see my brothers and sisters swimming in pools or doing any of various cardio or weight exercises in a gym, we are really conspiring among each other, whether silently or in code. Today, we are seeing if we can change the weather, thus control it. It's a Conspiracy thing, you know, that we pesky Jews love to do. Somebody will have to deal with Iran's capabilties of acquiring a nuke or nukes. Somebody must. The world ignored Hitler. We are all damned if we do deal with it, but doomed if we do not. This is not going to be just a problem just for the IDF and Israel. It will spread - Like Nazism did, like cancer does, and the head must be cut off of the snake before a worse 9/11 Round II comes to a town near you. For all the latest out of Israel, www.debka.com is a good website to read, as well as ynetnews.com. Debka.com really has all the juicy stuff. Please watch this, all. If one nation will fall to them (even if it's just a bunch of Jews), it's a green light for them to continue. We, the good ole' US of A will be next, or at least somewhere on that list. After all, we are The Great Satan, according to them. I wonder how Obama will be with our military folks if he is Commander in Chief. Will there be a job to defend and be Semper Paratus even here on our shores? I wonder. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/04/24/60minutes/main4040294.shtml http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3522937,00.html This public service announcement brought to you by those who are involved in the conspiracy, of course. |

Isn't Congress controlled by the Dems at the moment, since like 2006? Will you join me at our next conspiracy theory meeting in L.A., please? All Enlisted and Officers welcome who have a clear mind on reality. We provide dinner, drinks and ladies who dance around poles, too. The rest of the night is yours for your own business. Seriously, I like your posts and your views, as well as others. To my chagrin, some see it as an Axis II disorder of some sort, with what we believe. |

So what's the big deal? Israel bombed the crap out of alleged Syrian nuke facilities just about six months ago ... then promptly clamped a lid on the news about it. They didn't do that unilaterally ... you know we were involved in some supporting role.
So any attack on Iran will likely be on underground facilities, using bunkerbusters ... primarily an Air Force fireworks show. I doubt we're gonna see a lot of collateral damage. So again, what's the big deal? It's not like we could pizz them off any MORE than they are already. |

Where did the IAF bomb in Syria? What nuke facility? If you are asking me, the big deal is that it spreads and retaliation. We the US also have interests in the ME. Like I said, damned if you do, but doomed if you don't. Words back and forth are much less than attacking aspirations of conquering the world and stand in a role as a nuclear power, which tends to take years in the making. How much do you know of some of their extreme clerics who preach lies about both the US and Israel in the madrass' (even Obama attended one)? Why are so many Americans in denial of what could possibly be? Is it because so many of us here do not know a different life and many of us are only preoccupied with having another car or boat in our driveway, what Britney Spears is up to, what is to be on Survivor, etc.? Well, if the worst is to happen (and I really hope to be wrong - REALLY, LET ME BE WRONG!!!), we will know differently the hard way. What will be of that American Dream that our relatives knew during the post WWII era, and what will be of this land that has given so many great opportunities to study in higher education, succeed in business, practice our religions freely and without fear, and to raise our children in neighborhoods where we want safety? We are not supposed to be a stupid people. I believe that we have succeeded so much because we are a nation of immigrants, where our ancestors had the cojones to cross the oceans and/or cross borders to come here and make a change - For the better. Anybody who does not think that something awaits on the horizon is living a fantasy of self-choosing. They have said for a long time as well that it's not an issue of if, but an issue of when. <b>History tends repeats itself and maybe they will come for somebody else tomorrow, where it won't affect you. But the next day they will come for you and you did not defend your neighbor the day before, where he or she did not succeed in defending themselves. He or she is gone. Now, who is left to defend you? Something to ponder, ain't it? This message has been edited. Last edited by: DonnyBee, |

I'll merely continue on the point I was making about the just the possibility that when Bush came to "power", he brought along a terrible lot that took the USA down the crapper.
Wolowitz Doctrine later... |

What if BJ Billy took a stand from the Oval Office to take out Osama Bin Loco, as opposed to getting busy doing other things? I don't think that it was in his job description to get busy with Monica and a cigar. Not that Osama is the only problem. There are many and many freaks who want us to go down. But in battles, isn't it customary to take out the leadership first (if you can), such as the officers? Osama was head and still is head. Maybe, just maybe, we could have avoided that crapper beforehand, where circa 3,000 Americans and other people from other nations as guests of ours in this country, who took a total of 4 flights and/or simply went to work one pristine September day, would not have met their demise in a fireball in Lower Manhattan and in the Pentagon. Imagine that, please. It was a crime to go to work one day. Nevermind the buildings for a moment. Let's say that they were demolished. The buildings can be rebuilt and replaced with money, which comes and goes. Lives can never be replaced, though, no matter how much money you have or how much you pray. |

DonnyBee,
Obviously you don't know squat about AQ. Osama is just one person, he is not Patton or McArthur. While he may be the poster child, business would go on as usual if he had been flattened by Clinton. Clinton has to be blamed for every failure right. If you want to play the blame game, how come we don't have bin Laden's head on a stake after almost 7 years? |

Why the need for an Atlas? Cool. Maybe it's a Zionist Conspiracy Theory. Maybe not. If it's not, cool. I am for it. In defense, one must always meet the threat with equal or more force. You're an E9, so your profile says, so you know. Si`, Goombah? Cosa dici? |

I know what I know. And, I also said in my post above yours, "Not that Osama is the only problem. There are many and many freaks who want us to go down." I blamed Clinton for two things. Not everything. Semantics for you or something else? Soon, we will only have ourselves to blame if we do not act further and only continue to talk. We will all be food for the fish. |
