Though I'm not from the state, 2 of my kids were born there and I spent enough (over 5 years) of my 20 there to know, there may be some wacky rule makers running the farm but some of the stuff they produce is good. Like the ANTI smoking ban. And from someone who was born and raised in Ky (a tobacco producing state), I felt that was a good thing. And now thank god, Michigan is doing the same thing.

OK, help me out here. Maybe I'm thick, but I'm not sure of your meaning. I understand a "smoking ban". But does "ANTI smoking ban" mean that rules against smoking are banned? I infer from your KY connection that you are against smoking bans. Correct?
