These are not future leaders of America. These are future BLEEDERS of America. In a few years these fine ladies will be on the public dole for life because they 'need the money'. If they'll steal from a nine year old Girl Scout, they'll certainly financially rape the federal government!

because it is easier to lie, cheat and steal than it is to earn the money. Unfortunately, there are a lot of ticks like these in society today... Frown

This is total BS! If they just let them keep the money from the Girl Scout hiest, they could have paid for their meal and left a nice tip. It's just a case of the man teying to keep them down. Roll Eyes Frown Eek

So, if the redheaded girl is a juvenile, why is she hanging out with the blonde idiot? Parents? Shows how much they care what their daughter does. Parents who say there's no way to stop the girl from hanging out with whoever she wants haven't tried hard enough to gain control of the kid. Actually, the problem started a long time ago with lack of discipline. Time outs don't work, and there's a difference between spankings and beatings!!! Mad New age, hippie, pansy "I-want-my-kid-to-think-of-me-as-their-friend" parents @#$%^ me off!!!

Some parents Roll Eyes
They try to be the kids friends. They buy everything the kid wants. My mother said "babysit for your money" I did. She provided meals and clothes, spending money from the kids came from selling papers, baby sitting, mowing lawns etc.

Such a shame, while now we the taxpayers are paying for her ride in her rehabilitation, or what is supposed to be rehabilitation. Her and her crony are FS. Not that FS rating of the Coast Guard. Rather, Future Sociopaths. They're surely on their way and I hope they can turn around somehow. Juvenile Hall typically does not turn them around, sad to say. Maybe something else can.

These young people have learned this attitude from the adults they observed, idiolized and aspired to be. I didn't see any remorse for thier actions and I'm sure what they will hear from thier friends and maybe thier family is don't get caught the next time.
Sad story all around! I hope folks don't give up on these kids for they will most likely be future felons with out some sort of intervention.

Peace,
Dick

Downright discouraging to see the absolute lack of remorse on their part. Both were only sorry they got caught and one rationalized that it was no big deal since it wasn't the Girl Scout's money anyway.

I would love to know what the parents are thinking.

As the father of five kids who have done and will do stupid things again, I can tell you I'm dumbfounded when it happens. At times I can't believe how stupid or careless my kids can act. I remind them that they share the same last name with the entire family and as well as the shame of thier actions. I hug them , ground them , and hope they will behave.
It takes a fair amount of luck as well as guidance to get your kids to adulthood.

I have worked with many kids like these. Do you think that there is a chance for these particular kids, long before they hit bottom, such as coming close to death from a drug overdose? Do you believe that if they perhaps join the military (not that they can, since they have a record now) or perhaps are sent to some sort of military school, they could turn around? I wonder, becase at this point, neither of them care, as they only care about themselves. The parents are also responsible in legal terms here. I hope the parents aren't as remorseful as they are. I truly believe some sort of intense community service is in line for these kids, in addition to Juvenile Hall. A lot of the time, kids, as adults do, reoffend (even staying out past curfew is a condition of reoffending for minors on probation and all they have to do is be caught), and they continue to go back to Juvie for years. They frequently arrive nowhere at the age of 18, with no skills to go do anything, but continue doing bad for society. Sad.

I volunteer with the local PD. Cops bring in kids for stealing candy bars when they have 20 bucks in their pockets? I wonder about the kids when they grow up. Are they going to be criminals or live on the dole, or GASP (dirty word) Get a job?? Roll Eyes
