Has anyone here ever taken or know someone who has taken a Stanford-Binet IQ test?

If so, where can I take one and how much are they?

Where can I obtain study guides/sample questions?

danke.....

I dont know where to get that one IQ test. There are tons of tests online for free that test IQ. That will get you use to the types of questions asked. You really dont study for an IQ test though. That kind of defeats the purpose.

I know there are free ones however, the Stanford-Binet is one of the most widely used and also is one of the few accepted by Mensa for admission.//

If you aren't smart enough to find it yourself then you aren't smart enough to get into Mensa.

Big Grin My youngest son was causing problems in school. A teacher had him tested for intelligence and his is 2 points below Einstein. So.......... I told him he was not to be a smart ***, be a smart person. The school gave the gifted kids trips, games, to keep them out of trouble. My son is working for the city and he's happy. My other son failed every class except mechanics. He can always find work. So intelligence and common sense might not go together

I believe the term to describe what your feeling there is "schadenfreude".... Wink

Stormer73: Similar thing with me. Back many moons ago, somewhere around the 9th grade, i wasnt doing so hot in school. The guards....i mean teachers thought there was a learning disability. So i was tested and and ended up scoring around the Soph/Jr year in college. As it turns out, i was just bored with a school that couldnt keep up.
