No i would never hurt a kitten...for some reason ..i just like talk junk..it is a charature flaw of mine, one of many...

Good show to watch on tv.."How is it made?"

It comes on the discovery channle..everything from bonzi trees to mbl baseball bats.

I am having a little trouble with the computer now and then..so i watch more tv..wife fixed the problem..she is the smart one in the family..Her and my daughter.

Also watch miami ncis the other night..i never knew nicotine was in pestacides and was so deadly in high doses..they said 3 patches could kill someone..geese louwezzz ..it is a dangerous world we live in and to think we both remember before the tamper proof packaging was on the market..Before that idiot poisoned the tylonal tablets. I remember riding around in the back of pickups and made a few trips from boston to the NH mountains in the back of an open pickup truck. I also remember when they started to add seat belts to car seats. I don't even want to start about the child labor laws, my dad sent me out to hump ammo loads all floor loaded on a 32' over the road trailer starting when I was 12 years old. The first stop for my dads driver was the bar after leaving the garage for a boiler maker and then off down the road we would go in an old B model Mack.
Ahhhh the memories,
Steve from what I can tell you are a true man of character and worth, merry X-mas and peace to your family,
Dick Cool
PS It looks like rain for this area tomorrow so maybe no skiing at Cannon for us. Maybe get a couple of turns in the keattle holes around town today while the sun is out and there is plenty of nice fresh powder to be had!

I am considering taking the following monday off..and going fishing on the twogeorges the preceeding saturday..i need a little recoup time when we do things...i would vist my sister..in titusville but she already has a house full..i go there every CG day anyways..except i am thinking of going to the one in daytona/ponce inlet next year..wray says it is a good one..although i had a hard time finding that station..the one time i went there (which at the time was,nt CG DAY)..but i did it..so maybe like brittney spears..i can say "i did it again" we will see.

That's a big day for my grandson..he needs all those fun thing like water slides etc..i just need a burger and a beer.

Last thursday at work..one of the guys caught some mullet out off of ceder key..the water is so shallow you can walk a greatways out everyone i talk to has told me and i believe maybe next summer i will purchase a cast net..and try my luck...i,ll be the one has a alumminum basebat with me..usally for dogs when i am meter reading..or out and about..i figure it will work on sharks too.

Lots of people in this area worried about the ice dams on the roofs do to the melting and refrezzing of the snow. We are expecting rain tomorrow so thats only going to bring more worries and damage due to the present ice dams.
I was going to break out the climbing gear and do a little work on the roof but took the kids skiing instead. I'll proable be out kicking myself tomorrow in the rain if any leaks show up.
The little boys enjoyed the skiing but not without sheding some tears along the way. Lots of crashes though the tress on the downhill runs in those flimsy cross country skis. Nobody poked their eye out, which is good! With the rain and one of the little kids doing a sleep over there will be no ski trip on sunday. Bummer, I might end up getting a little exercise and excitement helping some neighbors with thier roof problems.
Peace and joy,
Dick Cool

Did some more back country skiing with the kids today in Fairyland ( Ralph Waldo Emersons' woodlot). Matt leads most of the way picking out little drops that we could make some turns on through the trees. Jack was the only little boy to come today and did fine ripping it through the trees. 3;13 and still no rain so hopefully its passed us bye. After two and a half hours we were pretty wet with sweat and snow melting and raining down on us from the trees.
Now in warm sweats and waiting to watch the patriots win another.

I get a lot of $hit from my family for saying happy holidays. They are very Irish catholic and correct me with a very merry x-mas to you.
Peace and happy holidays

Steve, any climber will tell you the most dangerouse thing about the climb is the drive too and back from the cliff. I'm twenty percent sure of this, and by far the most dangerouse thing I have ever done in my life was flying in those old h3 airframes in the mountains and nasty winter weather of so. east alaska with a couple of LT at the controls. The crews that did that day in and out I found to be incredible brave. The ones that did that for ten or more years had some real stones!

Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Light rain for about an hour here then snow but not much. Santa will have some slippery roofs here tonight, but it isn't anything he cant't handle. Keep up the good reads and enjoy the Holidays

Getting down to the wire now.

My son and daughter in law are up here from SOCAL again this weekend. Spending Christmas Eve with us, then to her folks tomorrow. Other than presents and all that stuff, I'm making Æbleskiver (my wife having a Scandinavian heritage), but probably no gløgg (she hates it). There are additional compromises: My DIL, Gina Marie, doesn't' eat red meat stuff, so I'm also cooking up some turkey bacon and sausage (in addition to the fat laden pork varieties, of course). And there will be Lingonberry Jam and powdered sugar for the sweet-loving folks.

Tomorrow it's just the two of us. (Well, + the pugs!) I bought a small ham and turkey breast from Honey Baked -- just have to heat them up, and serve with some au gratin potatoes or something. Then it's relaxation and watching some of the parades, etc. on TV -- snacking on some unusual cheeses and sausages I received from a friend. (And sneaking some food to Pauli and Gus.)

Then it's time to get ready for New Years Eve -- which will probably be equally as exciting. Roll Eyes
