Pooch hurt in plunge is home, and dog-sitter hires a lawyer

BY ALISON GENDAR and ETHAN ROUEN
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

Friday, May 16th 2008, 4:00 AM

The dog that survived a fall - or a throw - from an upper West Side apartment is back with its owner, the ASPCA said Thursday.

The Jack Russell terrier broke both its front legs last week while its owner, a Secret Service agent, was working Jenna Bush's wedding, police sources said.

The person who was watching the dog, also a Secret Service agent, has hired a lawyer, the sources said.

It remained unclear how the dog ended up on the street at W. 105th St. and Columbus Ave. on May 8.

"I heard a noise and loud voice that said, 'Shut up!'" Norma Rivera, a crossing guard at Public School 145 on the upper West Side, told the Daily News on Wednesday. "I saw the dog flying, and it landed in the middle of the street!"

As usual, conservatives jump in immediately and start spinning the truth and twisting words around ... anything to defend their Uber-Leader. I didn't say George Bush threw the dog out the window ...

Then why did you title this thread "Bush Secret Service Throw Dog Out Window"? The Secret Service knows no politics but puts focus on the mission of protecting the POTUS, regardless of party. You were the one that inserted BUSH! Roll Eyes

Soc, you are the one spinning. Like President Bush told the SS to throw the dog out the window. Nope, but the FIRST word in this slam post is what...? BUSH... but in this case it should be 'Bush League'!

Man, we are reaching recently, ain't we... Roll Eyes

I'm starting to believe Soc is losing it. Kind of reminds me of Lokie during the last election time! Wink

Naw, I believe Soc is a good guy… just trying to push buttons OR he is packing a woody for President Bush. Either way, Soc does appear to have a Bush fetish… and not the normal kind of bush fetish! Eek

I do have a bush fetish ... I love them hirsute women ... I could care less about Bush the prez ... he's lame duck in my book.

But I get a huge kick out of seeing the Neo-Cons pop up like meerkats when ya' throw out a stinkin' herring like this one ... if I could photoshop Bush picking up Barney by the ears, I would, just to post it on here.

Soc, if you cared little about the prez, you would not routinely post derogatory crap about him. You would hit the ignore button and wait out the lame duck’s reign. But you cannot do that. You are fixated on the man. You must suffer from MBF… “Multiple Bush Fetishes”. I only hope hat the next prez will provide you with an adequate ‘fix’ to meet or exceed your ‘necessary daily intake’ of prez bashing! Wink

Well, if you guys would just come up with a different focal point for your lunacy, I'd send a few their way ... Rove quit. Cheney won't come out of his cave. At least we provided Dan Quayle as target for y'all.

Call it "pushback". I'm tired of the terrible names and assignations upon the left ... soon to be the "mainstream" of this country (if you haven't noticed, you've lost 31 HoR seats so far).

I can certainly stop bashing Bush ... when I see a little respect for the views of 50% of this country reflected on these forums. Until ... "No Country For Old Men".

I disagree, ( I know, no surprise there) I do not see the left as a mainstream of this country. I do think they are the most verbal(mostly whining, always being part of the problem and not the solution IMO) though. Popcorn
