What a f-ing idiot! You know, when you're in that type of public position and your personal life goes againts the grain of what your job is, suck it up and stay away from crap that will get you in trouble. When you're done with job, live how you want and no one will care.

Too bad Congressman Jefferson is following Craig's example though!

Don't shed any Crocodile tears for the senator.

He will be receiving a generous pension consisting of close to $160,000 per year (which is around 80 percent of his congressional salary - plus full medical, dental and other benefits - enough to keep him fat, dumb and happy in the State of Idaho, at least until America's short attention span kicks in and forgets all about him.

And then Craig will most likely accept a position at one of the K Street (you scratch my back and I'll scratch your's) Washington DC lobbying firms.

Thats no joke Mark. I'd love to see rules passed that if a member of Congress leaves prior to their term being up for reasons other than health or personal, then they should lose all their benefits.

I really don’t care if the Senator is homosexual or not but I do care that he is violating laws and trying to have sex in public bathrooms. I also heard his interview with the arresting police officer and it made me wonder exactly what went on. But he pleaded guilty to a lesser offense, so I believe he was trolling for male company.

But I find it funny that the Republicans turned their collective back on him for violating a law. It appears to me that our elected officials stand by their comrades when caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Be it lying, taking bribes and hiding the money in the freezer, screwing subordinates, chasing male pages, hiring hookers… it doesn’t matter. They always seem to cover their own butts! But this time, the Republicans took a stand and did not support him. Why?

Damage Control. They used the mattress from his rack and him to stuff the hole in the side of the SS GOP. In six months that section of plating will heal all by it's self and few will remember.

A quick google search of the terms "cruising" and "restroom etiquette" reveal some very funny rules for straight men (eyes forward, no talking) and some very sad stuff for those who "cruise" public restrooms, parks, etc. for so called "Gay" activity.

It actually reads like addictive behavior; no love, no friendship, not very gay. Very sad.

Well ... I can see there's no capitulatin' on here for us blokes who take the "wide stance" at the community urinal. Some of us short heavy guys must get a good solid base under us ... security is everything, I don't need to get my nervous bladder going. Touched his foot? He would be lucky I didn't pee all over his shoe!

I personally think it's a vast left wing conspiracy to force bidets in men's bathrooms.

I also heard the taped interview and all I heard was an arrested person lying. He spoke just like a politician. Oh wait, he is one.

It's funny that politicians and criminals use the same words in speeches and interviews. "I don't recall", "that's not what I remember...", "well if you say so..." it's crazy.

Funny, but casting a vote in a democratic government and commiting a crime are two different things.

Elected officials are the law makers and in this case, also the law breaker.

Ever notice how dirty public restrooms are? I never wanted sex with a woman in a men's restroom. Not exactly the atmosphere that would be condusive to good, clean sex. While I agree, there are some places that are more adventurous than others, a public bathroom just isn't in the top million places on my list. Cool

Isn't this just a ploy to get "Senator Only" restrooms in all airports across the nation?

Now ex-Senator Larry Craig, the fellow who publicly said of Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinski affair, "... Bill Clinton is a...nasty, naughty boy.", has finally come out of the water-closet.

Does anyone remember Jerry Studs playing tag with his pages? What were the results of his actions? I remember he didn"t even face the Senate!
