For those of you wondering why the criminal* Rangel hasn't been sanctioned/impeached yet, consider:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/18/us/politics/18ethics.html?ref=us

*Does use of the epithet towards a duly elected public official prior to any conviction, much less indictment, constitute a violation of the TOS? If so, please accept this preemptive apology and treat this as a 'teaching moment.'

Honorary, first off, Americans are innocent until proven guilty. Now, although I don’t see how he cannot be found guilty, he still deserves due process. And, as soon as the wrong doings to which he has admitted are proven, he ought to be kicked to the curb for ethics violations. But he won’t be. Know why? (D)!

Secondly, the Congressional Black Caucus, as mentioned in the article, is a racial bigoted group that should be dissolved. They are bigots, period.

That said, were I to do the exact same things Old Charlie admits to doing I would be in deep trouble with the government! He will not be in trouble. Congress protects their own… period.

As for ‘us’ getting sanctioned for calling elected officials names… they can call me a Nazi and I have no recourse? Wow, more do as I say, not as I do!

Funny, the left attack McCain for not knowing how many homes he PAID taxes on yet blindly cover for Old Chucky! How hypocritical can the left be? Y'all never cease to amaze me!!

Amazingly, just as much y'all on the right. See my reply to Scrounge on the Michael Moore thread.

Yeah, I rejected 'Oxymoron' for the thread title as too vague. Wink

Honorary, you make me laugh! Did I not just write that Old Chuck should not be tossed out without due process? And that kind of supports your post. However, and here is what makes your tears flow, I then go on to show you the hypocrisy of liberals and that truth gives you a boo boo. Liberals ruthlessly attacked McCain on his 'number of homes' but at least ALL the taxes were PAID in FULL! Charlie not only forgot the had the homes but FAILED to PAY his TAX obligation! And that fact - one he admitted to doing - give you a boob boo?

Too frigging funny. If I don;t 100% agree, the crying towel comes out! Roll Eyes

See my first sentence when starting this thread:

"For those of you wondering why the criminal* Rangel hasn't been sanctioned/impeached yet, consider:"

I suppose due process does support my post in a procedural way, but I thought the column did a good job of explaining the source of my (and other's) impatience.

Glad I could brighten the day. Don't agree on what? That the left are just as hypocritical as the right? Or that the right is in no way hypocritical? Pardon any typos, my tears (ROTFL tears) are blurring my vision. Good thing I keep the towel handy. Wink

Yeah, my daughter in CN sent pics of the grandkids in the first snow a couple of days ago. Out here, we didn't get the solid precip when that one came thru, but it hasn't been the mean high for this time of year (low 70s)for a month - 50s instead with early frosts, fuzzier caterpillars, etc. Good luck up there! I suspect we'll need it this year down here, too.

How does this affect your freezer stocking plans in that hunting region? Will it throw the scheduled season(s) out of sync w/ nature?

Rain, sleet or snow... the freezer gets filled (as long as I see deer big enough to shoot).

I wouldn't be surprised if liberals were dragging their feet on Rangel because Rangel has some dirt on fellow representatives.

How come an inch of snow brings a bunch of remarks that Global Warming is not an issue but a bunch of 70 plus degree days in late October does not have the opposite effect?

How can this thread exist? Congressional and ethics can't be used in the same sentence can they?

Neither prove man created the situation. Both confirm that weather cycles are cyclical, always have been, always will be.

What's truly sad is that there is no absolute proof that man has created global warming, or that global warming (over an extended period of time) even exists. But, the radical changes the man made global warming, fear mongering, alarmists have severely negatively affected many people and many businesses. This in fact, is a well documented fact.

Really? Imagine a cyclical cycle. However, has the cycle been sped up?

Nobody knows. I'm not greatly alarmed if average temps have gone up a degree or two since the thermometer was invented, partly because we were coming out of a mini ice age when the thermometer was invented.

How 'bout them Yankees?

I do not believe it has...Measure it against the billion or trillion years the planets been here...tell me what you find. Please provide some data (that is rock solid) conmfirming this did not happen some time in the ladst million years...

I can provide some rock solid data revealing how the California Energy Commision has blighted some previously solid businesses and drasticlly hurt families in the process.
