I have watched a lot of MSNBC lately. I tune into Morning Joe as I prepare to go to work and all they have been talking about for over a month is Clinton and Obama. Then, when watching Chris Matthews and all they have been talking about for over a month is Clinton and Obama. Same happens when Olbermann comes on (although he takes a minute to bash Bush or O’Reilly or Beck. But mostly, MSNBC is Clinton and Obama 24/7!

So, since MSNBC seems to be a commercial television station used to forward the Democrats agenda in the presidential race, should the Democrats be required to claim this advertising as contributions to the campaigns? To me, all these shows are doing the same thing, forwarding the Democrat presidential hopefuls.

I guess this Clinton/Obama 24/7 coverage is deemed fair and unbiased!

Right after Rush acknowledges his as contributions to the Republic Party. . .

As Hillary would say "Get real!"

Is Joe a liberal Democrat? Is Tucker Carlson?

No more than Fox for the GOP/Right Wing.

Maybe the Demo race is just more interesting? I mean, it is The Clinton Bunch! Wink

Pat, MSNBC is a television channel on cable. It’s kinda big and even nationwide. Umm, we even have it here in Massachusetts!

GJD, I don’t listen to Rush so I can’t tell you about his show. I believe that it’s been well over a year since I heard Rush. Since I don’t know enough to answer, I’ll let you be the judge, but… two wrong don’t make a right. So don’t use the tactic that ‘they do it’ to justify poor behavior. Also, I believe that Fox does not cover the right as much as MSNBC does the left.

n1dp, Fox discusses the right and the left. MSNBC seems to only discuss the left and then only Clinton and Obama. I will agree that the race for the Democrats is more interesting but 24/7 coverage seems excessive.

Jac, I used to watch fox in the morning but I got tired of their game show coverage in the AM.

Is Fox News part of the Republican party or are they just giving the Republicans free advert?

SN, Fox covers both the Democrats and the Republicans. MSNBC has been all Democrats all the time for over one month.

And I love the way you abbreviate! Maybe you don’t know this, but the site cut off the word ‘advertising’ in the title, but thank you for point out the obvious. I don’t know how I ever got this far without you. Wink

Disagreed says Fox "covers" the Democrats ... Scrounge flat out says Fox is wholly impartial.

I don't even know what to say to this ... I don't think they're blind ... I wonder if it's some kind of left brain/right brain disconnect or something.

At least I'm willing to say there's plenty of lefty coverage ... but it ain't on Fox.

Pat, I watch it sometimes because I like to get the ‘other side of the coin’ perspective. Funny thing is that I rarely watch Fox (except I normal watch a little O’Reilly). I don’t listen to Rush or Hannity. I guess I ain’t really much of a right wing whaco.

My view of MSNBC is that is the all Obama channel.

"Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon.
Going to the candidate's debate.
Laugh about it, shout about it
When you've got to choose
Every way you look at this you lose."

The liberal press runs the country, sad but true. All the candidates are weak. What amazes me, is with a country of almost 300 million, this is the best crop we could come with. Amazing. Lord help us all.

Ah, but if you knew Pat like I do, you’d realize that I am in good company. Watch Olbermman for a month and tell me that he does not hate anything right of the political center. All he does is kiss Clinton and Obama butt while attacking Bush, O’Reilly, Glenn Beck and anything else considered to be conservative. (And I don’t view Bush as a conservative).

We get what we deserve...Why would anyone put up with the ridiculous scrutiny we (and the opposing candidates) put the potential candidates under...one would have to want the office desperately to be willing to be go through all of it.
