I stumbled across a website called Flame Warriors and it breaks down netizens by type.
Humorous and almost uncannily accurate in nailing down descriptions of posters and imposters. Might even be useful on some of the forums. Consume and enjoy.

That site is one of the most hilarious I have visited in a while. I see so many different versions on here.

For me:

quote:
Nanny tirelessly monitors forum discussions to make sure that everyone behaves. Though he is quick to admonish for off-topic messages and petty squabbling, he is generally slow to anger. Rather than wading into pitched battles, Nanny simply pulling the plug on combatants and bans repeat offenders.Weaker Warriors such as Innocence Abused, Weenie and Crybaby will run to Nanny for protection in the midst of battle.

Obviously, I have to conceed that I would have a hard time denying this label for me.

Centurion tries to gain tactical advantage in battle by asserting that he is, or was at one time, in the military. He affects the brusque demeanor and clipped style of a drill sergeant, and intimidates opponents by sprinkling his messages with military verbiage and obscure acronyms. He reinforces weak arguments by constantly reminding other Warriors that he has “done his duty”, or “served his country”. Sometimes Centurion may even post pictures of military hardware or images of himself in fatigues brandishing a weapon. Red Face Wink

Centurion may actually have a military background, or he may just be a nut case - no one really knows. Centurion loathes and is loathed by Weenie, Artiste and Fragile Femme. His natural ally is Troglodyte.

Oh well.... Big Grin

We all have a little of this going on. Some more than others.

However, on another message board, this guy who claimed to have been in the Marines was ranting and raving how military life is. I saw through his BS in the first sentence when he stated that he was in the "Core"
