These sources are either deeply biased, offer little actual information, or are accounts of nutjobs trying to get the majority to follow them and failing. If you want to prove that your assertion is true, you'll need something much less questionable.

What about Benjamin Netenyahu, the Former Isreali Prime Minister who says 9/11 was "Good" for Isreal and that they have clearly benefitted from that American Atrocity?

And remember, what would the Isrealis think if say, President Bush said that the Isreali defeat against hizbollah was good for America?

I'm not defending the individual Muslims who celebrated 9/11...but to sit here and suggest they were the only ones "Happy" to see that, is naive to say the least...

Without a doubt they celebrated over there and it could be expected. Evil, but nothing we can do about what they do in their country. Not surprising since they make no bones about not liking America.

The day of the attack there was a report of celebration in Patterson NJ, but was quickly broken up. Nothing else was ever heard of it.

Pictures are biased? Come on now sweetsuds. To clarify, I've never suggested that all muslims are terrorists. But to suggest that there wasn't dancing in the streets is funny. What would be less questionable, CAIR? To imply that pictures and video lie is an insult to our intelligence.

With respect, why the move? There are two other threads on PCP touching the same issue at hand.

Just my two cents (not worth much)

YES, there were Muslims dancing in the streets....that part is true...

but to clarify something that outlaws said...

NO, it was not celebrated all over the Muslim world as he suggested. That part is a LIE...

Furthermore, there were FAR MORE accounts of Muslims who were quick to denounce the terrorist actions of 9/11. This has been proven over and over again.

And lastly, those bigots (yes, rps, I called them bigots) who celebrated in the streets, in my opinion, are no different than the hundreds of American (mostly Christian) college students, that I personally witnessed on that day, who celebrated because school was cancelled due to the tragedy of that day.

I personally witnessed beer kegs being rolled in, music blaring, and Fraternity Village rolling with partiers celebrating "SCHOOl'S CANCELLED"

Sure, they are celebrating for different reasons, but it is equally just as disgusting to me.

This topic has come up on P/CP a dozen times or more.

It is specific to one area of the Middle East and could fairly be called a local incident.

Was not meant to be disruptive USAF, I just was pointing out something that wasn't correct.

Hooah, I never took it as disruptive. But is it fairly old news, (While still of interest).
An occasional one with a recent controversy or news item is cool, but we must have 20 or better Islamic threads over the last 2 or 3 pages in P/CP.
They are becoming the dominating topic, and they definitely belong in other forums.

No, that's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that the written and spoken statements were biased. Your use of a straw man will not work. And CNN, BBC, CBC, NBC, ABC, the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, the Globe and Mail, and other well-known and respected newsmedia sources would do just fine for most discussions.

It's obvious that you just assumed that these are all biased sites. Since when is US News and World Report a straw man? That video is a CNN News article.

No, I didn't assume that. And are you aware of what a straw man is?

I have told you countless times about BN speech.
However in your blind hate to Israel you will not listen. Suit yourself.

As soon as you will explain to me how our defeat benefited USA, i will agree with you. So much for your words.

Back to topic-I will bet that in USA you have had one or two crazy commies that were glad to see the symbols of Capitalism destroyed. Does it make the entire USA bad? No.
