hello all , to all our present aviators , keep on flying. i am looking for any one that served in fulda , germany 1976-1979 in spt trp air 11th acr and also looking for pics of tthat time frame from both post and sickles airfield. had an ex fiance throw out over 10,000 pics from there years ago, went back to fulda last june , not the same with house on the airfield and no runway. was a huey crew chief in fulda and huey and 58 in bad kissengen, was know as mski real name is sp 4 walter p mazuchowski, jr. i meet up with sgt david dull in germany this past summer as he stills live there. he started out spt troop but switched over to cobras for flight time. i have found maj tanguay, cpt travis some of the pilots. sfc andrew parrasso you was huey platoon sgt passed away a few years ago in alabama. well take care hope to hear from some of the guys and maybe get some pics from back then, wally (mski) you can also email me at bufmaz1@yahoo.com
guten tag buz, spent probably the best 4.6 years of my Army career assigned to Downs Bks in Fulda. Arrived January 1974, departed July 1978 enroute to the other assignment ranking right up with Fulda, Ft Polk!
Knew & respected many of you. the avaitors, docs. and enlisted Soldiers at Air Cav Trp. You guys were always tuff against us in flag football & softball. Jim Iman was 1SG at ACT then came over to our unit caught up with him at Ft Hood while I was TDY in support of BRAVE SHIELD in '79. Qualifed for the German Marksmanship with your Ops Sgt (E8), can't recall his name in '76, we were the only two to get selected from Regiment. I remeber MAJ Tanguay very well. Wish I had stuff to share with ya, but other than some memborila and great memories, thatz it.
My name is Danny Marquez I was stationed in Fulda from mid 77 to 79, served under major Hamburger and then major Mcdermot at the airfield in the armament dept. I also played on our flag football team as the starting halback alongside pete peterson, I remember art curp and all the good friends I made well there. I also played and coached our softball teams and remember all the post championships we won when we were. I am looking to get in touch with some of my old budies, like Art Curp, Ruben Mancera, Robert Pauslen, Clifton Myles and any of my other friends who rmember me when I was there. Alot of cool memories like learning how to ski at garmish when they gave us admin leave and running in the marathon with Major Mcdermott and the gang in West Berlin, I have a hard time recollecting alot of the names now, but have pictures of some of the gang to share. that you would probably recognize.
Was in Fulda 80-82 and then again 83-85. knew Dull. went back there in 2001. Sad to see, looked like ghost town all but the fire station are gone on the airfield.
