I am a sophomore, 3.7+ GPA, (I have to figure it as my school runs on a 0-5.0 scale). I play football and I do track+field. I am currently going into AP World, hnrs chem, and hnrs lit. I volunteer regularly with the NWSRA. And I am looking to join the CAP Cadets or some other cadet organization, whatever fits the best for me. I am also seeking to join debate and/or student council. Physical build of 180 5-10. Mile time is around 7:30. I am seriously committed to flying, I want to serve so badly, but in a highly prestigous way. I will do anything to make it into the Academy and end up at top gun one day.

A 3.7+ in honors programs is a decent starting point. A 3.85 is the average for accepted candidates. Keep taking those honors and AP programs, they look good on your app. and can help you validate classes.

Whatever extracurriculars you join are up to you. The academy wants to see leadership experiences.

Keep working on your fitness. The better shape you are in, the easier the academy will be.

...and if you want to go to Top Gun, I suggest you join the Navy, as that is their training program. (Don't worry, the AF has our own, it's just not called "top gun.")
