I was at the Academy in 1994 for only 11 days when my knee was injured on a run. After being taken to the hospital, my knee was fine, however the docs found all of the extensive documentation of my severe migraine condition in my records. They told me I was unfit for all branches of military service. I told them I fully disclosed that to EVERYONE, every step of the process. The next day, I was in front of the Commander and he said I could either "leave today" or "finish out the year and then leave." Of course I left immediately not understanding anything and devastated. I didn't know much about the military and no one explained anything to me. Now that my husband has been discharged after 14 years of Active Duty and was just awarded 70% Service Related Disability Compensation, I'm starting to wonder. AND... what I'm upset about is that my DD-214 shows Honoarable discharge but Separation Code JGA, Reentry Code 1T (which I don't know what that means, and that it was due to my "entry level performance or conduct." NOT TURE!!! I excelled far beyond ALL the females in all physical and academic areas as well as most of the males. Was this just the AF covering up their error for letting me into the Academy in the first place? Is there anything I can do or should I just let it go? What does reentry code "1T" mean?

I ask you to look at the Joining the Military threads, Recruiting Questions. There's an extensive discussion on RE-Codes there. Good luck.
