I am currently prior service Marine Corps hoping to join the CG. I need to know the CG policy on accepting a prior service member with either a General, or an Other than Honorable discharge.
I was told there was an OTH Waiver? Does anybody have and usefull info. on this?
If your RE code is "4", there is nothing a Recruiter can do for you. If it is a 3, it depends on the circumstances. Call your "local" Recruiter and give them your full situation. Ensure you leave no details out. The answer is: It depends on a lot of factors.

Typically an OTH isn't going to be looked at by the Coast Guard. It doesn't need as many people as the other services, so it doesn't do as many waivers, especially moral/RE waivers. As Down posted, you local recruiter is going to have the best info for your situation. You don't say way you got the OTH so you won't get to specific an answer here.
