The government does not work that way. The CG is military and US Customs does not exist anymore(it is now CBP and ICE). You must apply for and be hired by a government agency just like everyone else. There are not "laterals", per se, in federal hiring. I would suggest you look up OPM hiring and do some research to better educate yourself before you sign on thinking you're going to get something that you most assuredly are not going to.

By the way, I see you're at Shinne****. Tell your BMC that Killer says "TURN 2!".

How 'bout you go tell your supervisor to go "TURN 2 " first.

What's your point? Do you actually have anything cogent to add to this discussion or are you just being a smartass?

Read what he actuallly posted (below). He didn't tell the seaman to tell the BMC to Turn 2, he told him to tell him that "Killer" told him to Turn 2. Obviously the two are friends. Roll Eyes

Wow! I'd say you need to get over yourself. As the tone of my post was clearly understood by everyone else; that leaves you as the lone shmoe who didn't get it. For your edification, the BMC and I have known each other for over 15 years, hell I was in his wedding. I must have missed the DHS bulletin that appointed you as "Guardian of All Thing USCG Related".

If had realized that you were such an M-16-totin' bad ass and that you patrolled this forum with the same gusto that inspired the Russians at the Berlin Wall; I most certainly would not have tried to help young coastie or inject a little personal note into a post.

May God and Mike Chertoff have mercy on my soul...........

OK - on a lighter note, did anyone else notice that Shina**** got hit by the naughty word bug and so did smartass, but M-16-totin bad ass got through! Big Grin

aww, computers and programmers, got to love them!

PS: Wait a minute - I can say smartass, but drsingle couldn't? that's even funnier!
