Hey I am leaving for Bootcamp on Feb 12th. Just thought I would get on here and see if anyone else has the same date. Any Tips would be great. I plan on getting on the list for AST after bootcamp.

Always do what your told, and keep your head on right! As for the AST school, work out hard all the time. From what I know that is one hard school!! I read an article aabout a year back on AST school, and it mentioned there are classes at times, where the whole class has failed by the 3rd week in or quit!! It isn't the Guardian where they graduate that good size class. Good luck.

Get that HELMSMAN studied so you know it inside and out. Be able to pass the swim and PT standards before you ship out.

Stay out of trouble, don't do drugs and stay healthy. Keep in contact with your recruiter. CPO Kalbach

Enjoy basic! Remember, it's only eight weeks! haha...seriously though, you get out of it what you put into it. And no matter how pointless something may seem, it will have some relevance to what you will be doing out in the field. Except for the time we had to march around all day with all of our coat hangers attached to us.....I'm still trying to figure that one out!

Jason, Cody,

Best of luck to both of you. Work as a team, keep your noses clean and it will all be over quickly enough.

Good luck, just remember not to take anything personal. You will look back at things and just laugh.
