Hey, I was wondering if there were any people on the boards here that applied for the CSPI program for 2008? I know the board met last Monday but judging from the past I'd say we have at least 2-3 weeks of more waiting until the results come out.

Yep, a couple more weeks. I looked at the panel results release from last year and that board met on 4/9 and the results were published until 5/7. Since our board met 5 days later this year, I assume the results will come out around the same time or a little later. No, not in the CG but I am actually in Army ROTC now. If I get accepted into CSPI, I will be released from the Army and become a coastie. Im in philly at Temple University. The waiting is starting to get to me

This is driving me crazy! I think I've been checking my email and voice mail compulsively for the last two weeks to see if my recruiter has called. I want to know so I can make plans for this summer. Ack!

No it's not. The results have not been released yet. I checked and it was nowhere to be found.

Yes I did get some good news, I got accepted and am heading to basic on 6/3. You?

anybody heading out 6/16? i don't get out of school till the 11th, and my recruiter said most CSPIers were goin 6/3.

idiablosv: yeah, I did too. Going to boot soon huh? I went about two years ago, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Also, try to memorize the 11 general orders before you go, that'll save you the trouble of having to memorize them while you're there. The orders are one of the CC's favorite things to quiz you on.

If anyone going to basic this summer still has their wisdom teeth, scramble if you can to get them pulled beforehand. You will definitely not regret it.
