ok here's my story...i've wanted to join the military for quit sometime (for almost 10 years) and i read on here somewhere that someone who has epilepsy is a permanent dq? i also read to try national guard. is it the same thing everywhere?i thought i'd try to ask on here instead of wasting my local recruiter's time.this has always been a dream of mine too serve my country so is there a chance in the military what so ever? thanks
There are also many other ways to serve. Many of them are not a lets say 'financially lucrative,' (a sly way of saying they don't pay) but are just as rewarding and as important. Both the AF and CG have volunteer organizations. There is the Civil Air Patrol and the CG Auxiliary. Both have strings here on mil.com
