I'm not sure about the whole process to go straigth into OCS since you already have your degree. Definitely the COAST GUARD can use motivated people in the intelligence field maybe you've heard of the recently created Intelligence Specialist rating (enlisted), but then again I don't know how the whole becoming an officer straigth from the civilian or another service works. I do know that A-school is only for enlisted and offficer do not need to attend one in order to be promoted.
