First, I appreciate all help with my questions.

Is the MK2 Zone Alpha still 2.0?

Say one takes the payment plan and also sells leave. Does the leave money get halved as well. OR does it get just get taxed in whole and put into the first payment?

I would love to get more into detail, but I take personal income kinda personaly.

Lots of thanks for anyone who helps.

I bet you could ask your SPO. Looks like a .5 SRB for an MK2.

C. PERSONNEL AND PAY PROCEDURES MANUAL, PSCINST M1000.2A, ENCL (6)
1. THIS ALCOAST ANNOUNCES THE RESULTS OF A PANEL CONVENED TO REVIEW
SRB MULTIPLES. FACTORS CONSIDERED BY THIS PANEL INCLUDE
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS ACROSS ALL RATINGS, OUR EVER-INCREASING ROLES
WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, WORKFORCE GROWTH,
INCREASED REENLISTMENT TRENDS, AND BUDGETARY REALITIES. THE SRB
MULTIPLES BELOW OFFER A FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO RETAIN THOSE
SPECIALLY TRAINED INDIVIDUALS IN OUR MOST CRITICAL RATINGS.
2. THIS ALCOAST ALSO ANNOUNCES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR MBRS WHO
ARE CURRENTLY COLLECTING SRB INSTALLMENTS THE OPTION TO RECEIVE THE
TOTAL BALANCE OWED TO THEM IN ONE LUMP SUM. THEREFORE, ENSURE
WIDEST DISTRIBUTION OF THIS MESSAGE TO ALL ENLISTED MBRS. SEE PARAS
6 AND 7 FOR DETAILS.
3. THE SRB MULTIPLES PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED IAW REF A REMAIN IN
EFFECT UNTIL 15 JULY 2007. THE NEW SRB MULTIPLES LISTED BELOW
BECOME EFFECTIVE 16 JULY 2007. MEMBERS IN PAY GRADE E-3 WITH A
DESIGNATOR ARE AUTHORIZED ZONE A SRBS IF THAT RATING IS AUTHORIZED
ZONE A SRBS FOR THIRD CLASS PETTY OFFICERS.
A. BOATSWAIN MATES WHO POSSESS ANY OF THE SURFMAN COMPETENCY
CODES (CXNNLBS, CXNSJ, CXNSK, CXNSM, OR CXNSU) WILL RECEIVE AN
ADDITIONAL TWO (2.0) KICKER ADDED TO THEIR SRB MULTIPLE. FOR
EXAMPLE, A BM2 WHO IS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE AN SRB OF TWO (2.0) AND
POSSESSES THE CXNSJ COMPETENCY CODE WILL RECEIVE A TOTAL SRB
MULTIPLE OF FOUR (4.0).
B. ELECTRONICS TECHNICIANS WHO POSSESS THE MK92FCS COMPETENCY
CODE WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL TWO (2.0) KICKER ADDED TO THEIR SRB
MULTIPLE. FOR EXAMPLE, AN ET2 WHO IS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE AN SRB OF
TWO (2.0) AND POSSESSES THE MK92FCS COMPETENCY CODE WILL RECEIVE A
TOTAL SRB MULTIPLE OF FOUR (4.0).
C. MBRS RECEIVING SRB KICKERS MUST MAINTAIN THAT COMPETENCY CODE
FOR THE LENGTH OF THEIR ENTIRE CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION UNLESS THE
CODE IS REMOVED FOR NO FAULT. FOR EXAMPLE, A BM RECEIVING A KICKER
FOR THE CXNSJ COMPETENCY CODE WHO IS TRANSFERRED TO A RECRUITING
BILLET IS UNABLE TO CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THIS COMPETENCY. HOWEVER,
THE SRB MULTIPLE WILL NOT BE READJUSTED (REMOVING THE KICKER) SINCE
THE LOSS OF THE COMPETENCY CODE IS NO FAULT. IF THE LOSS OF
ENTITLEMENT TO A COMPETENCY CODE DURING THE CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION
PERIOD IS DUE TO FAULT (E.G., REMOVED FOR INCOMPETENCY), THE SRB
MULTIPLE WILL BE READJUSTED AS OF THE DATE OF REMOVAL FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION. ENTITLEMENT TO SRB KICKERS
WILL NOT BE RESTORED IF THE LOSS OF A COMPETENCY CODE WAS DUE TO
PERSONAL FAULT AND THE MEMBER LATER REQUALIFIES DURING THE SAME
CONTRACTUAL PERIOD. THIS READJUSTMENT OF SRB MULTIPLES MAY RESULT
IN RECOUPMENT ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THE MBR.

This may be stupid on my part, but where did you get the .5 from? I read it as, MK2 AND ABOVE 1.0 2.0. Meaning after July 2007 I would go with the higher, or 2.0. Is that not correct?

Thank you for the help

Leave is just basic pay divide by 30. Has nothing to do with a bonus..2 different things.

How often do changes to SRB's take place. For instance, if the SRB for Zone A SRB (IT1) is (1) as of 17JUN08, will it definitely remain at this value until about the same time in 2009?

For the past 6 years, changes to SRB multiples have only come out once a year, anywhere from April to July. The message usually comes out 30-45 days before the multiples change. Cool
