But on a serious note...I though Bush singed a legislation back in his 1st term that Military members are to be given a minimum of 3.0% each each year?

Proposed raise? I'd be thankful for anything better than a pay freeze next year.

Well, we've had smaller pay raises in the past and it's still early in the year. I'll take the 2.9% and say Thank you very much!
