Are you still in the area of your last duty station?
Did you request a retirement processing point or any of those other leave work early things?
RETIRED IN FAIRBANKS,AK last station was in kodiak
HQ has told the yn's in kodiak (was the processing point)when you rerire you are not entitled to COLA while on term leave so of course they took back the cola on lump some on our last offical check from active duty. when i contacted the YN's in kodiak tues 13th of Nov 07 they stated to me you will not see the money from your last check it is gone and dont expect to see it
the YN's stated it was in the JFTR so my ? to you all is WHERE in the JFTR !!!
Take a look at JFTR Chapter U9105, COLA Start/Stop.
It's been a while since I worked pay but I believe that your overseas COLA stops when you detach from the overseas command. You were probably detached from Kodiak, which ended your entitlement, and then commenced terminal leave in conjunction with your PCS transfer to your home of selection.

Your not getting it because you didn't earn it! You never did your job in Kodiak, they are using that money to pay your old crew for babysitting your kids during the work day while you went golfing!!! Your lucky they didn't bust you down and kick you out....stop whining!!
