I'm working at a Sector right now and we do Pollution Investigation and Port State Control here. I've heard this is pretty much what MST's do. There's supposed to be a few weather (watching patterns on a computer screen) and Ice Patrol (counting pieces of ice) billets, but even they're hard to get. Are there any billets anywhere that have anything to do with animals?

I thought there were a couple of science-related billets on the Polar-rollers and Healy.

Might want to check on the MST site -

I have to ask this. If you had an interest in working with animals, why did you join the Coast Guard?

The snipes were considered refined and tame! They stayed clean and hung out in the rec deck while we pounded buoys!
