Ralph Elroy McWaters, a/k/a Tom

Tom joined the Marines on/about 02/28/1975 in Santa Ana, CA; honorably discharged 05/13/1978. While in Marines he married Marliese and they had a daughter, Sara (Sarah?). DOB is 12/13/1977.They divorced. He moved back to Connecticut. Tom & I lived together in 1980 in NY. He had many emotional problems. He talked about Viet Nam, but I can't confirm he was there.

Anyway, Tom and I took a temporary parting. He was going to seek help. Not quick enough, though. Tom took his own life 03/29/1982.

Later on learned he had a son, Christopher, in Connecticut. Chris' wife Lisa and I have been emailing each other for a few years now. We're trying to locate Tom's daughter, who would be Chris' half-sister (Sara).

Tom served under a Sgt. J.L. Hughes and SSGT S.H. Cantonwine.

Having a difficult time because all known relatives here in the NY/CT area are deceased. His Uncle was murdered (murderer was put to death by lethel injection); his grandmother died; his father has died; and his only sister is gone also.

I have the last names that Tom's former wife Marliese used but won't post them here. Read your rules and goodness, this old woman CAN remember some things!

So if anyone has any information about Tom's wife, that could lead us to his daughter Sarah, no matter how insignifant you think it is, please share it. I'd love to find Sarah's whereabouts and give it to Christopher, Tom's son, as a Christmas present.

PS -- On my vehicle is the Marine Corps emblem. A HUGE magnetized emblem is on my refrigerator. As a teen in Brooklyn, my home was invaded almost every weekend by Marines from Camp LeJune and Paris Island. When I say this I mean it -- there is NOTHING better than a Marine.
