I don't know whether this is more of an art or a craft, but ....

Does anybody here work with stained glass? I started in Iraq--had to go to a war zone to find a class I could take--and I love it. Just looking to find out if anybody else makes shards and slings solder.

The difference between an art and a craft has been too politicized for me to want to touch it. Either way, you make beautiful things that I would love to see someday.

I did only one piece for myself, but I worked on several class projects. All of the class projects were fairly large with hundreds of pieces of glass individually cut and fitted. The piece I did for myself was our two cats sitting in the window together, "bird watching." Unfortunately, I had to leave it in Iraq, and wasn't able to find anybody to ship it home to me. I did get a picture of it when I got finished with it, so maybe I can re-do it sometime.
