My 9yo squeezed through a chain link fence gate that was locked instead of climbing it
I want to sew it to repair it. What kind of thread do you think would be best? Just regular cotton poly blend or something else? The shell material is nylon. Dh (the expert on winter gear) told me that sewing it would be better than the patch kits they have out for it. |

If by chance, it is an LL Bean jacket you can return it for an exchange or refund no questions asked.
Otherwise - I would go with a nylon thread. If you could find it silk might even work better. Sgt Mom Everything becomes a little clearer, I realize what life is all about. Unfortunately it is not. I will check WM or trek out to Hobby Lobby then for the nylon thread.
Thanks! He does have a Lands End parka that this replaced because the dumb zipper sticks (plus the down keeps him warmer) and MIL told me I could call them and they might replace the whole coat. I have to give that a try. Right now he is wearing that coat and just dealing with the zipper but I would like to hand it down to my other boys. |

LOL at the hole.
I will make a note - look for silk thread first. Thanks |
