I am living on the USTS Texas Clipper III down at Texas A&M Galveston. And instead of a traditional dorm room where we're more or less free to do whatever with decorating I have a state room with some fairly strict guidelines. I can only have one wall hanging. That is going to be a religious themed poster that I am bringing from home. So what kind of ideas can y'all through at me to decorate the desk top, bookshelves and small tops of areas that I will makeshift into shelves. I've thought of some small wallet size picture frames of family and friends. I also thought I might have mom make me some decorative pillows that I can throw in the wall locker for inspection. The only quasi decorative thing I have right now is my chess board. Any ideas? I figured you wonderful people might like a challenge. Thanks!
