Although I must admit I cannot take credit for the scarf, a friend of mine made it for me. I'll be taking pics of stuff I CAN take credit for and posting them, though.

Only some of the cards I have made. I really need to start making extras of everything just to have...

The back of a denim shirt of DH's. took me a year to make this! ( and he made one exactly like it for me on deployment one year)

I love the cards, too - and the cool thing is that these days the "homemade" look seems to be "in", even with the retailers, cards with buttons, ribbons, and other 3d things ... and it's much more fun and usually cheaper to do it yourself. Smile When I was at the scrapbook store earlier I saw card supplies, and I am planning a bridal shower in early spring and I'm pretty sure I'll just make the invites myself. I may tap you for ideas when the time comes, JVB. Smile

Mrsjvb.. I love the scarf & the cards look really nice!

I made 2 quilts a few yrs ago. I will have to get the pics and scan in here. I also at the time cut and sewn together squares for another quilt.

I have been carrying those around omg since 1994. I just pulled them out this morning and I am considering finally turning them into a quilt. lol

They are all together now in the large squares and need sewn together so I can get a back and stuffing.

I did it all by hand I must be insane!!

I lost a lot of photos from a computer crash, but this is what I could find.

I have done needlepoint pieces for a shop in Jacksonville, FL and these are 2 of them.

Knitting never intrigued me, but I just bought a small needlepoint kit off of ebay. I actually gave away all of my Cross stitch stuff when we moved..I hadn't touched any of it in over three years, and that's my cut off for purges.

But with Winter coming, I may need something to keep me occupied, especially since I am done with school in March.

I try to do cross stitch ornaments for the tree every year. I've done a stocking for each other the children and a baby blanket when they were born. You have got me thinking again and getting the bug.

Okay, So I know it's not really crafty, but I am very happy about my pumpkin. I haven't done one in so long, and have no artistic talents at all. So I wanna share it. Big Grin I know I already did in confessions, but I really am that proud. lol

You all are making me want to go to Michaels and buy a craft kit to start!

When DH was deployed, I bought a bow maker and made some big yellow bows. I sold them for a donation at an FRG event to help raise funds for the FRG.

I have a sewing machine but don't know how to use it. It was my daughters. We bought it for Christmas for her one year when she was really into sewing. She left it with us after the sewing phase was over. I want to learn how to use it but it intimidates me.

It is a Simplicity Pioneer II. It is only about 4 years old. Anyone know anything about sewing machines?

After thought....I created a new thread to get advice on sewing machines.
