I'm trying to put together a biography of my military service of 21 years and I have run up against a minor dilemna. The Army MOS's designators have changed some but the SQI's are limited. I have 2 mos's on my DD214 and other documents that I can not find listed.
MOS 11E2T, what's the T?
MOS 11B3Y, What's the Y?

A little help.

A friend of mine asked me to ask this forum if anyone would know of ...

"SEATO Exercise I think in 1962, but could have been 1964. That sh$t bridge in Subic Bay being packed with one big fight, twix Americans, Pommes, Aussies, and Kiwis and being told by the guard room to take my patrol out and crack a few heads.

I think myself that the story is of Porkeys ...But in fairness the incident did happened but I do not recall the casualty list

Nearly six hundred military personnel were involved in the fight (or the lesser)

Would any of you remember the following
When HMAS Melbourne cut the USS Evans in two during June 3, 1969, Hmas Parramatta was ordered back to Subic Bay for 16 days as the Communication ship for Australia

While she was there during 5th of June and 21st June 1969
There were some incidents that some of the Australian sailors witnessed while doing shore patrol with the Yanks and OPD
1: The OPD at this time were armed with chrome plated Thompson Sub Machine Guns.

2: Philipinos killing another Philipino..beaten to death with a club

3: The fingers of a young Philippino thief being broken with the butt of a 45 cal. pistol from the OPD.

4: In OPD HQ and a Yank staggered in wearing only his white uniform bottoms and his shirt wrapped around his chest. When he turned around there was a large knife sticking out of his back.

5: At one stage during the Vietnam Conflict there were more people being killed in Subic Bay than in Vietnam. (I dont believe that)

Any help, so as I may pass on your information

They are Qualifiers ie L for Language P for Airborne 11B Infantry 3 (e-6) P airborne 11B3P
I'm not sure what those stand for or what kind of Infantry 11E is.
Try Army Discussions they have a seperate catagory for Infantry
