Well I made it and I am all set up in my room. I started class last Monday and had my first test on Friday over A+.I passed with a 96, I'll take it. If you are allowed on your orders to have a POV bring it if you can. Here where they put prior service in the barracks is about a 15 min walk to formation and school. It just makes things easier. Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Is there still mold all on the first floor of the non-IET barracks? Crappy Sprint DSL still offered? Charter is better, barely.

I just took DH there last week and everything seems to be going well. Compared to BCT, it's the ritz carlton..lol. He's 25S and likes how they are so laid back there and as long as you do what you're supposed to do, you're good. Others weren't so lucky I hear. I know the classes are delayed right now, but from what I hear that's the norm. So far, so good. Best of luck to you!

I am joining from a long break in service (reclassing to 25n). My wife expects to be able to PCS there, since the post regs say that 20 weeks is the minimum qualification for PCS.

Will I be like most other prior service, and stay away from the IETs during non-class time and PT?

If not, would I actually have to live in their barracks?

Thanks

Hi Tank,
I PCS'd here with DH a month ago, and 20 weeks is the minimum so your wife should be able to as well. Much luck to you both and thank you for serving, again Smile

Glad you made it and are doing well! My DH is in his 11th week now, what schedule are you...mids, days, swings? Keep up the great work and we do have a POV but until he gets 5+ it's only me driving..

The HTTS is not a bad place to train. The worst part about it is that for about a week it is all computer based training. it is not fun trying to stay awake all day doing the CBTs
