Right now I'm looking at these two signal jobs. Can anyone who works with either help me lean in a particular direction? Also if 25N (and maybe 25P) are more tactical does that limit the duty stations available for each? I'd like to have the opportunity to do at least one tour in Europe.

25N is the More Tactical version of 25P. They do fieldwork. Both are needed all over the world, the 25N is largely replacing the 25F, which was switch operators..

I currently have the MOS of 25P. I currently have 5 friends with the same MOS as I have who are serving tours in Germany. Some get deployed out of Germany to Iraq, but others get a lot of TDY time over Europe. It really depends on your luck of the draw. But, currently right now I heard a lot of 25P are being sent to Belgium, back to Ft. Gordon to an MI unit, to Okinawa, Japan and also to Ft Huachuca (spelling). So you may expect one of those places if you were to pick up one of those MOS now. 25N are replacing the 25F outright pretty much. We have a couple 25F right now in my company. One is working the tech control I work at, and a good bit are actually doing the job they are trained in. We have no 25N in my unit that I know of. I don't ask everyone their MOS, though.
