I ETS'd in 2001 as a 31R, now 25Q. I'm thinking of going back into the Army but was told by some of my peers who are still in that MOS to choose something else. One of them recommended that I choose 25N, but from what I've been reading on this board, 25N is not sounding like a great MOS these days either. Does anybody else here have any recommendations?

25Q is high demand right now

25N currently is a "bridge" MOS filling a gap using Commercial off the shelf (COTS) until a system can be built and deployed.

MI or Ordinance electronics repair is good stuff.

High demand... really? I thought they were retraining a bunch of 25Q's into 25N's. Are they in high demand to help with convoys?.. hehe

I guess that means I won't be able to change my MOS either!

I should have restricted that to "units currently or about to deploy"

Man those tropo link sites really bite. I guess as more hardwired infrastructure is availabe thier utility decreases.
