Good day,
I've done some searching on various AFSCs and have been seriously considering joining this fantastic branch of the military. But one AFSC that I have been unable to find much useful information on is 2W2X1 Nuclear Weapons. I've obtained some basic info from about.com and google.com, but I remain unaware of what a typical day might hold for a person in the 2W2X1 AFSC. Any information would be most helpful.

I'm looking for jobs that have a good potential for travel, as in being stationed out of country (I realize the probability of being stationed in my place of choice is slim to none). As well as jobs that are low speed, but still have a technical side to them, and are more physical and outside versus paperwork at a desk. The POL field looks very interesting to me, in addition to a select few of the Civil Engineering AFSCs. I do not consider myself 'job-locked', I'm a fairly diligent worker, and I'm very excited to do my best in the Air Force. Again, any information would be most helpful. Thank you for your time.

I have not found much info on this job either and trust me i have looked. A matter a fact I'm shipping out in March for this particular job. I suspect the lack of info may due to the top secret security clearance but, I'm always game for a little mystery.

Take that ASVAB first and see exactly what you qualify for....
