I am leaving for BMT nov 11 09 and wondering about PT.. do they just throw you out there and expect you to be physically in shape to run the mile your first day or how does it work? how is the food at lackland?
You're a little late to be asking your first question. They don't expect you to be a world-class runner, but you'd certainly have done yourself a favor if you had already started a fitness program that included practice for both distance and speed. Push-ups and sit-ups also don't come naturally.
It's not too late to do yourself a little bit of good, by at least starting a running program. But be very careful that you don't hurt yourself.
