Some of you probably don't know me, but I left for bmt march 18 and graduated from bmt may 2. I went to tech school for materiel mgmt for 6 1/2 weeks. I graduated june 26. I'm on my way home for rap and leave for 4 days. Afterward I'm off to my first duty station in Kadena, Japan. I'm excited to go home and off to my first duty station.

btw, my tech school was in lackland. If youu have any questions abouut the dorms or tech school feel free to ask me Smile I do have pictures of the dorms and area near it.

Congrats...I hope you enjoy Japan. I have flown over it a jillion times, but never got to stop (always going to Korea instead)...so be sure to have some Saki for me while you are there.

I just finished an aircrew school with a SSgt who spent the last 5 years in Japan, and all he could talk about while he was in Arkansas was how much everything sucked in Arkansas. If I had to hear him say "Dude...this was so much better in Japan" one more time, I was going to cut off his gonads with a pair of rusty toenail clippers.

Moral of the story? Japan must be a cool spot...so get off base as often as possible, and check out every stinkin' inch of that place before you get PCS'ed back to some miserable spot in the States...or you'll spend the rest of your life wishing that you had done it when you had the chance.

I bombed all over Korea, and put the bus and train system to good use. Glad I did.

Kadena is a great base, I loved every minute of my four years there! Get off base and do everything you can, the snorkeling is fantastic. I wish I could go back!

I loved Kadena, great assignment. We had a great time all four years we were there, my oldest two were both born over there. Get off base and do as much as you can, everyone is very friendly. If you like the water, the snorkeling is great there!

Actually alot of people have told me that ***an is a really great place to get station. Lol. I'm looking forward to going off base and taking the bus everywhere. Some of my friends want me to buy them things while I'm in ***an.

Thank you.

What is your fiance name? I may have run into him during Warrior Week. Or he could have been in my brother flight.

I don't know what the Security Forces dorms look like because they are a different squadron, but I can show you pictures of the dorms for the squadron I was part of.

How is security forces doing anyways? Last time I heard about their tech school (which was well over a year ago) they were in perminant phase 1 day(X) for about 4 months as far as I know.

They would get in so much trouble.
