Ok, so I've been trying to join the AF for over a year now. Reason it's taking so long is because my old recruiter did not help me at all.
My new one started of good, but now we're getting to nowhere. I already asked the ppl on the AF.com chat about my problem, and now I have two absolutely different answers, and don't know who to believe?! So I was wondering who else I can contact to find out the truth?!
Thanks!

go into more detail on how your new recruiter started out good and lead you to the road to nowhere?

Reading your previous posts, these are the issues that I can see.

1. You are not a US citizen. Did you provide all the necessary documents verifying your legal status in the US?

2. Your HS transcripts were not verified. I went through this with someone from Iceland and it is not up to the recruiter or Operations Commander to get them translated. Yukkondog told you previously to take them to a college and get them verified.

3. The new recruiter may not know what to do. Ask the recruiter to get someone to help him/her with your application.

There will be a few things you must do to get in. The recruiter does not do everything. There is a little extra effort on your part. Talk to the recruiter and ask what the hold up is exactly.

ok, so the problem is: i'm not a us-citizen, got all my permanent resident paperwork and everything done a long time ago. my HS diploma has been evaluated, and is fine. I already had a MEPS appointment in june, right before i was getting ready to leave the house to go to meps, my recruiter called me and said, i can't go because they're having some kind of computer problems... then a week later she called me back (i was hoping it is going to be a new appointment) with the bad news, saying the AF has changed the rules for non-citizens, what exactly those rules are/were i don't remember anymore. So she told me to wait until it will be changed back, well like i said, that was back in june. so when i chatted with that guy online on AF.com, he said, he doesn't know anything about the rules change??!!! so who do i believe now?! any suggestions on what i could do?! thanks!!!

So has your recruiter dropped off the map? The folks on af.com are just advisors that gather your info and pass them on to recruiters in your area, I wouldnt imagine them to possess regs, etc.
