EAD Dec 18 2007, a week before christmas, and I will still be in BMT for my 21st. Oh well, little sacrifices here and there make up for an amazing experience.

Shipping to BMT Dec. 4th. Can't wait until then, keeping in shape to stave off the wait. The anticipation is killing me. Going in as Crypto Linguist.

Hey cmoaf4970 and 11727993, When does your actual class start? I'm leaving on the 25th and my class starts on the 30th... Definitely starting to get a little nervous :P

Same for me ! 30th = First Week

23 to 27 = CERO WEEK

I leave AUG. 28TH ive been in dep for 9 months now. I wasn't nervous at first but now its getting down to crunch time and im starting to freak out man. lol just messing i cant wait im so hyped up about this.

Leave for BMT August 1st.

Fast851, same here. Been in DEP for 5 months now and I wasn't nervous at first but now that time's almost here...

leaving tenatively Dec. 5th, but hopefully sooner....

BCA, I'm sure your not the first one to feel nervous as time approaches, matter of fact my airman got a severe case of the "don't want to's" about a week before she left. I wasn't real sure she was going to get on the bus as a matter of fact, but she did and she hasn't regretted it for one second (since BMT LOL)!!! I 'm sure none of you have taken this decision lightly, so all of you just remember what you have to look forward to on the other side. Good Luck to all of you!!!

The best day of basic training was always yesterday...its already over.

My daughter was very nervous the last week also. I could tell she was second guessing and wanted to day something, but she held it back. The recruiter advised us that it would be more difficult for her if we went to final MEPS with her and saw her off at the airport. We asked her what she thought and she agreed that it would be harder on her. It is a HUGE decision and once you are sure, don't let nerves get to you. Just understand that it's normal to feel like that.

Aug. 28th w/ shitty Mechanical Apptitude. I'm hoping once i do Job counseling at basic i get something i'm interested in.
